Elections to Epping Forest Council were held on 4 May 2006. One third of the council was up for election and the council stayed under no overall control. The Labour Party was reduced to one seat following wipeout of their representation in Loughton - remaining Labour councillor, Peter Gode of Shelley would resign in 2015.
