The 2015 Nishinomiya by-election was a by-election held on 25 January 2015 to fill two vacancies in the seven-member Nishinomiya district of the Hyogo Prefectural Assembly. Five candidates contested the two seats. Masakazu Yoshioka of the Liberal Democratic Party and Yugo Nakano of the then-recently formed Japan Innovation Party were elected, winning 29.4% and 24.6% of the vote respectively. Voter turnout was 21.3%, the second-lowest ever for a by-election for the assembly.
