The 70th Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature was held on November 30, 2022, at the Marquis Events Place in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig to commemorate the memory of Don Carlos Palanca Sr. through an endeavor that would promote education and culture in the country. The traditional ceremony was held after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 59 writers, 28 of whom were first-time awardees, were chosen as this year's recipients.
