49 Persei is a star in the northern constellation of Perseus. It is just visible to the naked eye as a dim, orange-hued star with an apparent visual magnitude of 6.09. Based upon parallax measurements, this star is located around 147.7 light-years away from the Sun, but is drifting closer with a radial velocity of −44 km/s.
