The 793rd Military Police Battalion was a battalion-sized unit in the United States Army stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska. The battalion was responsible for all Regular Army Military Police units and operations in Germany and eventually in the state of Alaska. In 1946, the battalion was located in Germany, with subordinate companies across the country. In 2010, the unit was relocated to Alaska. With the reduction of troops in the US Army, the battalion was deactivated on 28 August 2014.
