Beaver Hill is an unincorporated community in Coos County, Oregon, United States. It is about 12 miles (19 km) south of the city of Coos Bay, east of U.S. Route 101 and west of Oregon Route 42. Like nearby Coaledo, Beaver Hill was formerly a coal mining community. The Beaver Hill mine was opened in 1894 by the J. D. Spreckels Company and the town was later owned by Southern Pacific. By 1896, Beaver Hill was an important community in the area and on January 11, it incorporated as a city. In 1926,
