Oswald Squire Hickson was an English lawyer, particularly known for his work in defamation litigation and in human rights cases during the Second World War. As a youth, Hickson played cricket for Northamptonshire in 1897 and 1898 in the Minor Counties Championship. He was educated at University College, London and admitted as a solicitor in 1902.
