Paula Kann was an Austrian born American alpine skier who represented the United States at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Paula Kann was born in Vienna in 1922 and started skiing with the help of her father, Dr. Leo Kann, when she was only six years old. She moved from Austria to New York City in 1940 but soon moved to North Conway, New Hampshire with her father.
