text: Psittacastis cosmodoxa is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1921. It is found in Peru. The wingspan is about 13 mm. The forewings are leaden grey with a rather oblique violet-golden-metallic streak from the costa at one-third, edged with black on both sides, more broadly towards the costa anteriorly, almost meeting a similar erect streak from the dorsum in the middle, edged black anteriorly. Beyond these is a broad brownish-ochreous transverse band dilate
