The Pskem or Piskom is a river of Tashkent Region in Uzbekistan in the Pskem Mountains. The river runs for 149 km (93 mi) southwest with a basin area of 2,830 km2 (1,090 sq mi). The origins of the river Pskem are in the glaciers of the Talas Alatau range in Kazakhstan. In the upper reaches of the river it flows through a narrow rocky gorge, and then travels more than 40 km (25 mi) through the Pskem Valley.
