text: Robert Whall Rudd was an Anglo-Argentine first-class cricketer and football referee. Rudd born in England at Manchester in the first quarter of 1872. Having emigrated to Argentina, Rudd refereed two international friendlies between Argentina and Uruguay in 1902 and 1903. Rudd played first-class cricket for Argentina, making a single appearance against the touring Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at Buenos Aires in March 1912. Batting twice in the match, he was dismissed for 3 runs in the Argentine
