text: Scrobipalpa pendens is a moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1918. It is found in South Africa. The wingspan is about 14 mm (0.55 in). The forewings are reddish ochreous, paler towards the base, with a few scattered black scales and a blackish dot towards the base above the middle, one in the middle beyond this, and one still further on beneath the fold.
