Tromsø Idrettslag is a Norwegian professional football club based in Tromsø. They play their home games at Romssa Arena. Tromsø play in the Eliteserien. Despite never winning the Eliteserien title, they have finished as runner-up in 1990 and 2011. They have won the Norwegian Cup twice: in 1986 and 1996, and were runner-up in 2012.
