text: Tyre is a hamlet in the Town of Tyre, Seneca County, New York, United States. It is located in the central section of the town, 6 miles (10 km) north of the hamlet of Seneca Falls, at an elevation of 410 feet. The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are Gravel Road, East Tyre Road, Lamb Road and West Tyre Road. The hamlet is also referred as "Tyre City." A historic structure known as the Tyre Band Hall, built in 1831 on what is now Gravel Road, was originally used as a Campbellite c
